Terms of Use
A personal devotional companion.
By using Lumen Prayer, you agree to these terms and Apple’s standard Licensed Application End User License Agreement.
Purpose
Lumen Prayer provides self-guided Christian devotional reflection and journaling for personal use. Generated blessings, Scripture selections, reflections, and prayers are prompts for reflection and may contain errors. Read the wider passage in a Bible translation you trust and use your own judgment.
No professional or emergency service
The app is not medical, mental-health, legal, financial, pastoral-counseling, or crisis care. It does not diagnose conditions or guarantee spiritual or personal outcomes. If you are in danger or need urgent help, contact local emergency services or a qualified professional.
Acceptable use
Do not attempt to disrupt, scrape, reverse engineer, overwhelm, bypass integrity checks, or misuse the AI service. Automated or abusive access may be limited or blocked.
Availability
In version 2.0 build 11, the first successful launch starts a continuous 30-day welcome period, measured on your device rather than by our server. During this period, prayers have no commercial daily count limit and all conversations share up to 50 successfully completed question-and-answer rounds per local calendar day. The welcome period does not begin a subscription or cause an automatic charge. Once it ends, free access allows one completed prayer and one completed conversation round per local calendar day.
An active subscription removes all commercial daily prayer and conversation count limits. When an active subscription expires, access returns to one completed prayer and one completed conversation round each day, even if the original welcome period has not yet ended. Canceling automatic renewal does not end already-paid access early: subscription access continues until the paid period expires. Failed or cancelled generation does not consume a completed-use allowance. Input-length limits, concurrency controls, and abuse-prevention budgets remain in every access state.
The first two AI routes connect directly to DeepSeek and then PoYo.ai. If both direct routes are unavailable, Sunnycreate's ECS fallback may forward the request to its provider. This fallback is available in every access state, subject to its safety controls; it is not reserved for subscribers. Service or provider availability is not guaranteed by a subscription.
Optional weekly and yearly subscriptions use prices and terms shown in Apple's purchase sheet. Payment, automatic renewal, introductory-offer eligibility, cancellation, and refunds are handled by Apple. Active subscribers may select another plan in the app. Apple determines charges and when a plan change takes effect, which may be the next renewal date; the current entitlement remains valid until the verified change. Manage or cancel a subscription in iOS Settings under your Apple Account's Subscriptions. You can restore eligible purchases in the app. The local 30-day welcome period is separate from any Apple subscription introductory offer. See Apple's standard EULA.
Deleting prayer content in the app keeps this installation's activation date, daily usage counts, and subscription-access history; it does not restart the welcome period or cancel an Apple subscription. A clean reinstall or a new device may start a new local welcome period. Restoring app data from a backup may also restore its local access records. We do not use a server-side welcome-period registry.
The app and online generation service are provided as available. We may maintain, update, limit, or discontinue features. We do not promise uninterrupted operation or that generated content will meet every spiritual or personal need.
