PulseRest Terms of Use

Last updated: October 7, 2026. Applies to the current version with installation-bound AI sessions and a daily, local-midnight AI allowance. Earlier versions retain their previously disclosed version-specific rules; their previous daily AI allowances do not apply to this version.

Apple’s Standard End User License Agreement governs the app license. These Terms describe PulseRest's services, access and subscriptions; they do not replace Apple's standard license or exclude your statutory rights.

Purpose and limitations

PulseRest is an everyday wellness-observation tool for adults. It estimates heart rate from mechanical chest movement. It is not an ECG, blood-pressure monitor, medical device, diagnosis, treatment or emergency monitor. It does not provide systolic or diastolic readings, and AI cannot calculate blood pressure from the curve. Movement, contact, posture, the device and the environment may cause errors or prevent an estimate.

Safe use

Follow the placement instructions and measure while resting. Keep the phone safely supported without pressing on your chest or restricting breathing. Do not rely on the app while driving, exercising or feeling unwell. Seek medical help for chest pain, difficulty breathing, fainting or similar symptoms; do not wait for a reading or AI.

7-day measurement access and subscription benefits

The app provides 7 × 24 consecutive hours of measurement access from first launch. The original start time is kept locally in the device Keychain, separately from records and preferences; clearing local data does not restart it. An older installation without a reliable historic start records its first launch of the version with seven-day measurement access once, without inventing a past date. This is not an Apple introductory subscription trial and includes no AI replies. After it ends, new heart-rate measurements require an active subscription. Existing history, replay, individual PDF export, deletion and past conversations remain available.

An active subscription verified on your device by Apple StoreKit provides measurement access and up to 50 AI replies per device per local calendar day. The daily allowance resets at 00:00 in the phone’s current time zone; it is not rolling and is not shared across devices. Follow-ups count. A request reserves one local slot; the first non-empty reply content counts once, including a partial reply followed by cancellation or disconnection. A failure without reply content does not count. Streaming fragments and recovery of the same request do not count again. Requests crossing midnight belong to their sending day.

The app checks membership and daily usage locally without waiting for ECS membership or allowance synchronization. Apple subscription information may still need to refresh. Clearing local content, restarting, restoring purchases or changing plans does not refill today’s allowance. To first authorize or renew an AI service session, ECS verifies Apple-signed purchase evidence and binds a limited-duration, revocable session to this installation’s signing key. Ordinary requests reuse a valid session with signature, anti-replay, reasonable concurrency, abnormal-frequency and timeout protections; they do not query Apple for every message. ECS does not enforce this version’s daily reply quota. First authorization, renewal and actual replies need internet access; a temporary network or authorization failure does not require another purchase.

Opening Analysis reuses an already verified subscription while it remains valid, rather than requiring another purchase because a refresh is pending. Apple updates are still checked for renewal, expiry, refunds and revocations. Local purchase history can suppress repeated subscription offers, but does not extend an expired subscription or grant access by itself.

After an explicit purchase or restoration is verified and saved locally, the app updates access, returns to the previous screen and briefly confirms that action once. Routine background subscription updates do not repeatedly display a success notice. This presentation does not change subscription duration, renewal, expiry or refund handling, and does not send an AI question automatically.

An AI session cannot outlast the verified subscription expiry and may be revoked following verified Apple information. Signed purchase evidence does not guarantee immediate knowledge of every refund or revocation. Installation-binding and technical request-frequency limits help prevent copied credentials; they do not replace or synchronize your local daily allowance. This version does not require App Attest or its device-key recovery cooldown for AI authorization; earlier-client security paths remain in place.

Subscriptions, renewal and cancellation

The U.S. storefront prices are US$4.99 per week or US$49.99 per year. Local currency prices and billing periods are shown before purchase; Apple's purchase confirmation is authoritative. Payment is charged to your Apple account upon confirmation.

Subscriptions renew automatically unless cancelled at least 24 hours before the current period ends. Renewal is charged within the 24 hours before the period ends. Manage or cancel in iPhone Settings → Apple Account → Subscriptions, or use Manage Subscriptions and Restore Purchases in the app. Deleting the app does not cancel a subscription. After subscription access expires, AI replies stop. New measurement remains available only if the original 7-day measurement period has not yet ended; otherwise an active subscription is required. Turning off auto-renewal does not remove access before the paid period ends.

Food suggestions are not an individualized therapeutic diet. App measurements cannot establish allergies, nutritional deficiencies, medical conditions or medication use. Before trying specific foods, check allergens, personal dietary restrictions and food/medicine interactions; the service does not guarantee that all contraindications have been excluded. Consult an appropriate clinician, pharmacist or nutrition professional when uncertain. Do not start, stop, substitute or adjust the dose of medication based on AI.

Data, service use and availability

You retain control over local data and can delete or export it. AI data sharing is subject to the Privacy Policy and separate consent. Opening Analysis does not automatically send health-related content; an active send requires the relevant data-sharing consent first. AI is forwarded only through our ECS servers to DeepSeek or PoYo, without direct client routing or embedded provider keys. Local deletion cannot retract data already sent to providers, and does not guarantee deletion of your exported files, other copies or server backups. See the Privacy Policy for the specific retention and cleanup boundaries.

Do not send another person's health information or unlawful content, abuse the service, bypass rate limits or distribute API keys. The service may be unavailable because of network conditions, provider budgets or capacity, or security verification. Server unavailability does not alter the original measurement period or revoke still-active measurement access already verified on the device. AI requests still require request-security checks, not server membership synchronization.

产品用途与局限

PulseRest 是成年人日常健康观察工具，利用胸部机械运动提供估计心率，不是 ECG、血压计、医疗器械、诊断、治疗或急救监护。不提供收缩压或舒张压读数，AI 也不能用曲线推算血压。运动、接触、姿态、设备和环境均可能导致误差或无法给出估计。

安全使用

请依放置说明在静息状态测量，安全地扶稳手机，不要压迫胸口或影响呼吸。不要在驾驶、运动或不适时依赖本 App。胸痛、呼吸困难或晕厥等情况应寻求医疗帮助，不要等待读数或 AI。

7 天测量体验期与订阅权益

首次打开 App 时开始连续 7 × 24 小时的本机测量体验期。开始时间保存在本机设备钥匙串，与记录和偏好设置分开；清除本地数据不会重新获得体验期。旧安装没有可靠历史起点时，以首次打开具有七天测量体验期版本的时间记录一次，不推定过去日期。这不是 Apple 自动续订订阅的免费试用，也不包含 AI 回复。体验期结束后，新心率测量需有效订阅；已有历史、回放、单次 PDF 导出、删除和旧聊天阅读始终可用。

有效订阅由本机 Apple StoreKit 验证，订阅期间可测量心率，每台设备每个当地自然日的 AI 回复上限为 50 次。按手机当前时区于 00:00 重置，不采用滚动 24 小时，不跨设备共享计数。追问计次；发送先预占一次，收到首段非空回复即计一次，随后取消或断线的部分回复仍计一次。没有回复内容的失败不计次；流式片段和同一请求恢复不重复扣次。跨午夜请求计入发送当日。

App 在本机判断会员与每日次数，不等待 ECS 会员或额度同步；Apple 订阅信息本身仍可能需要刷新。清除本机内容、重启、恢复购买或更换方案不会补满当天次数。首次授权或更新 AI 服务会话时，ECS 核验 Apple 签名购买凭据，签发绑定本机安装签名公钥、期限有限且可撤销的会话。日常请求复用有效会话，并保留签名、防重放、合理并发、异常高频保护和超时管理，不逐条消息查询 Apple；ECS 不执行本版本每日回复配额。首次授权、更新及实际回复仍需联网，暂时网络或授权失败不要求重复购买。

进入分析时会沿用已经验证且仍有效的订阅，不会仅因刷新尚未完成而要求再次购买。续订、到期、退款与撤销仍通过 Apple 更新核对。本机购买历史可避免反复展示订阅介绍，但不会延长已到期订阅，也不能单独授予访问权限。

主动购买或恢复购买经验证并保存到本机后，App 更新权益、返回原页面，并仅短暂确认这次操作一次。普通后台订阅更新不会反复显示成功提示。此呈现方式不改变订阅期限、续订、到期或退款处理，也不会自动发送 AI 问题。

AI 会话不能超过已验证订阅到期，也可依据已验证的 Apple 信息撤销。签名购买凭据不保证即时知晓每次退款或撤销。安装绑定数量与技术请求频率限制用于防止凭据复制，不替代或同步您的本地每日额度。本版本 AI 授权不要求 App Attest 或设备密钥恢复冷却；旧客户端的安全路径继续保留。

订阅、续订与取消

美国商店价格为每周 4.99 美元或每年 49.99 美元；当地货币价格及扣费周期在确认购买前显示，以 Apple 购买确认页为准。确认购买后由您的 Apple 账户扣款。

订阅自动续订，除非在当前周期结束前至少 24 小时取消；续订扣款在当前周期结束前 24 小时内发生。您可在 iPhone 设置 → Apple 账户 → 订阅中管理或取消，也可使用 App 内管理订阅与恢复购买。删除 App 不会取消订阅。订阅失效后不能获得新 AI 回复；新测量只在原始 7 天体验期尚未结束时可继续，否则需重新获得有效订阅。关闭自动续订不应在已付费有效期结束前移除权益。

饮食建议不构成个体治疗食谱，不能依据本 App 的测量推断过敏、营养缺乏、疾病或用药情况。尝试具体食物前请核对过敏原、个人饮食限制及食物与药物相互作用；本服务不保证排除全部禁忌。不确定时请咨询医生、药师或营养专业人员。不要依据 AI 开始、停止、更换药物或调整剂量。

数据、服务使用与可用性

您保有本机数据的控制，可删除或导出。AI 数据共享受隐私政策及单独同意约束。进入分析页面不会自动发送健康正文；主动发送前需要相应的数据共享同意。AI 只经我们的 ECS 服务器转发至 DeepSeek 或 PoYo，不使用客户端直连或内置供应商密钥。本机删除不能撤回已交给供应商的数据，也不保证您导出的文件、其他副本或服务器备份随之删除。具体数据保留与清理边界见隐私政策。

请勿发送他人的健康信息、违法内容，或滥用服务、绕过限流、传播 API 密钥。服务可能因网络、供应商预算或容量、安全校验而不可用；服务器不可用不改变原始测量体验期，也不会撤销本机已核验且仍有效的测量权益；AI 请求仍受请求安全检查，但不做服务器会员同步。
